Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Nikolai Luzhin (ranked 1490 p4p, 178 weight class) and Chester Drawers (ranked 1036 p4p, 115 weight class). Luzhin's entrance music is Lil Baby - Narcs. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Chester Drawers!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Drawers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Luzhin controls Drawers momentarily but Drawers frees himself.
Drawers wants to control from the top but Luzhin keeps moving.
Luzhin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Luzhin has his foot on Drawers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drawers works his way back into a safe position though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luzhin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Drawers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Luzhin's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Drawers wants to pass to mount but Luzhin is defending the position.

Drawers is trying to work for a kimura but Luzhin is defending well.

Drawers has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The House of Pain. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Luzhin is desperately trying to improve his position but Drawers has a good base and remains in mount.
Drawers pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Luzhin wants to hold on but Drawers pushes him away.
Luzhin tries to reverse the position but Drawers maintains control.
Drawers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Luzhin is looking to escape.

Drawers is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Luzhin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luzhin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Drawers with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Luzhin tries to hold on but Drawers postures up.
Luzhin tries to reverse the position but Drawers maintains control.
Drawers works his way to his opponent's back.

Drawers has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Luzhin is defending well but eventually Drawers manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Luzhin has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chester Drawers!
After the fight, Chester Drawers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Nikolai Luzhin spoke after the fight, saying 'yeah Well i'm old af what did you expect'.
