Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Hello Bay (ranked 2084 p4p, 189 weight class) and Jimmy Quick (ranked 19904 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Hello Bay! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 7 losses; Jimmy Quick! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Quick wants to clinch. Bay scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Bay (4) vs (0) Quick Quick is trying to control Bay's posture but Bay avoids it. Bay is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Quick will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Quick tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A lull in the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bay tries to move to full mount but Quick actually manages to regain half guard. Bay is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bay controlling from the full mount. Quick tries to hold on but Bay postures up. Quick really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bay controlling the position easily from mount.

Bay controlling from mount. Bay has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Quick tries to reverse the position but Bay maintains control. Bay controlling from the full mount. Bay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Quick for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quick on the ground. Quick is in all sorts of trouble here.

Quick is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bay is staying active.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Bay is taking a breather. Quick says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. More hug and hope from Bay. Quick is trying to maintain the position but Bay is very close to passing his half guard. Bay stalling. Bay is pressing down on Quick's thigh, looking to free his foot. Quick is holding on for now. Bay is thwarting Quick's attempts to control the position. Bay wants to free his trapped foot but Quick is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bay slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Quick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Quick knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bay is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Quick is looking for a sweep. Bay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Quick looking for submissions off his back. Bay keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bay is looking to advance position but Quick won't allow it.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Quick wants to control but Bay is keeping busy and won't allow it.
