This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Rizzo Young! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Cillit Bang!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Bang is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Young looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Bang moves into range and clinches up with Young.
Young tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Young tries to pull guard but Bang holds him up against the cage and eventually Young drops back down to his feet.

Young ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Young no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bang looking to pass the guard.
Young pulls Bang in close to his closed guard and prevents Bang from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bang trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Young pulls Bang in close to prevent any damage.
Young's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bang wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving.
Bang tries to free his leg and advance position but Young is retaining full guard.

Bang drops back looking for a leg! Young is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Young manages to kick Bang off! Bang jumps back into Young's guard.
Bang trying to control but Young is working from the bottom.
Young has his hands on Bang's head, controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Young is keeping the position for now.
Bang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Young working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bang trying to control but Young is working from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Young holds on and takes a little breather.

Young has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bang should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Young has tightened it up now! Bang should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Rizzo Young thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
