The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smithson throws a lazy right hand but Crowder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Smithson misses with a wild body shot.
Smithson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crowder.
Crowder throws a combination. Smithson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Smithson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crowder makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smithson. Crowder does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crowder lands a two punch combo.

Smithson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doherty's Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Crowder's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smithson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crowder scrambles back to his feet.
Smithson lands a jab.

Smithson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Crowder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smithson.

Crowder walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Smithson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
