Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harold Murphy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Conan Barbarian's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Barbarian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbarian shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Barbarian swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Murphy is now in Barbarian's guard. A big mistake from Barbarian there, giving up the dominant position!
Murphy wanted to stand there but Barbarian had control of the position.
Barbarian will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barbarian has his foot on Murphy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy works his way back into a safe position though.
Barbarian has a closed guard, preventing Murphy from standing up.
Barbarian is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murphy wants to get back to his feet.
Barbarian working over Murphy with some ground and pound. Murphy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Murphy is trying to stand up here but Barbarian is controlling him well.
Murphy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Barbarian wants to work for an arm triangle but Murphy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Barbarian landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Murphy wants to get back to his feet.
Murphy looks gassed!
Barbarian frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barbarian cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

You get the feeling that Murphy really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Barbarian working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Murphy turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Barbarian off and cradles Murphy's limp body as Barbarian celebrates with his corner.
