Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Cho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Abelyan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cho connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. No joy there for Cho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Abelyan scores with a takedown into Cho's guard. Cho is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cho trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Cho is striking but Abelyan is not phased and passes to half guard. Cho kicks Abelyan off and gets back to his feet. Cho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Abelyan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cho can pounce on him.
Cho on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cho thumps Abelyan with a low kick. Cho throws a sloppy head kick and Abelyan moves out of range easily. Abelyan slips a jab and a cross from Cho.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cho lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Abelyan looks gassed! Cho lands a lovely overhand right. Abelyan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cho being controlled here, momentarily. Cho is trying to keep Abelyan in close.
Abelyan looking to pass the guard. Cho has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Abelyan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Cho displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cho fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cho fails to land with a series of punches.
Cho throws a right and a left that Abelyan avoids nicely. A jab-cross combination lands for Cho and sends Abelyan crashing to the mat! Cho follows him down to the mat - Abelyan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Abelyan is rocked! Cho decides to stand and escape the position. Abelyan is still on wobbly legs! Can Cho finish him? Cho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Abelyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cho but Cho pushes him off and we're back to square one. Abelyan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cho. Cho lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Whack! Cho lands a heavy head kick that drops Abelyan. The ref tackles Cho to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Abelyan was done.
