Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jess Halaby (ranked 5693 p4p, 511 weight class) and Matt White (ranked 5901 p4p, 0 weight class). Halaby comes to the cage accompanied by Shiraz ft balancos. Matt White will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halaby misses with a takedown
and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Halaby darts in and clinches White up against the cage.
Halaby ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Halaby no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Halaby has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.

Despite the aggression on White's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

As Halaby backs off White throws a huge counter combo but Halaby manages to avoid it all.
