Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Starman (ranked 3893 p4p, 387 weight class) and Joshua Brown (ranked 3271 p4p, 341 weight class). Starman's entrance music is wrestlers. A fine choice. Brown has chosen Hail Mary Tupac as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown is looking to clinch but Starman is avoiding it.
Starman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Joshua Brown has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Starman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Starman defends it easily.

Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Starman escapes and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Brown manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Starman is nestled in close to Brown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
