The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tareni with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Maximo Tareni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tareni lands a leg kick that knocks Dubois off balance momentarily.
Tareni swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dubois.
Tareni lands a glancing blow to the side of Dubois's head.
A cross from Tareni lands.
Tareni darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tareni bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dubois's head backwards.
Tareni getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Dubois closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dubois has hold of Tareni's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tareni tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dubois cranks the arm and Tareni screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tareni, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
