The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock connects with a jab.
Javier throws a series of strikes that have Pollock backpedaling.
Javier misses with a straight left.
Javier tries a head kick but it misses.
Pollock lands a nice looking kick to the body. Javier takes a step back to recover.
Pollock just misses with a punch to the body.
Pollock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Javier moves away.
A little jabbing left from Javier on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Javier tries to clinch but Pollock is having none of it.
Javier slips a jab and a cross from Pollock.
A nice side step and Javier releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pollock tries to work over Javier's front leg with a kick but Javier checks it.

Javier lands with a nice combination. Pollock backs away looking to recover.
Pollock loads up on a big right hand but Javier slips the punch.
Pollock tries to bum rush Javier with a series of wild strikes but Javier uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Some bone on bone action there as Javier checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pollock throws a head kick that misses.
Javier misses with a two punch combination.
Pollock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pollock throws a looping overhand right but Javier ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Javier lands with an uppercut that bounces Pollock off the cage and back into range.

Javier throws a head kick that misses.
Javier looks to land a right hand but Pollock moved out of range.
Pollock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Javier slips a jab and a cross from Pollock.

and Javier counters with a head kick. That will keep Pollock thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Javier throws a body shot but no joy.
Pollock seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Pollock! Javier is out on his feet! Pollock rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Javier is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Javier is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

A relieved looking Phil Pollock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
