Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 1598 p4p, 197 weight class) and Rocky Baxter (ranked 2367 p4p, 262 weight class). Battle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Knockout - Yung Gravy. Rocky Baxter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle lands a right hook to the body.
Battle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baxter .
Battle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Battle lands in his opponent's guard.
Baxter keeping moving, preventing Battle from controlling successfully.
Battle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baxter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Battle stands and throws Baxter 's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Battle working the head and body with strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Battle throws an elbow but Baxter slips to the side and avoids it well.
Baxter can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Baxter tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Baxter 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Baxter manages to get back to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Battle in particular looking to stall.
Battle wants to pass to mount but Baxter is defending the position.

Battle is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Baxter is hurt! He's hurt bad - Battle fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Baxter from any more punishment! Congratulations to Battle! Great finish!
