Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Araujo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Araujo tries to clinch up.
Freeman closes the distance and clinches.
Araujo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Freeman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Araujo throws a knee to the head but misses.

Araujo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Araujo wants to clinch but Freeman slips to the side
and Freeman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Araujo's guard now.

Freeman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Araujo tries to clinch but Freeman moves away
and Freeman counters with a thumping low kick.
Freeman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Araujo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Freeman.
Araujo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Freeman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Araujo keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jeff Araujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Freeman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Araujo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Freeman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
