Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Fireball Kid (ranked 7595 p4p, 584 weight class) and Jao Rua (ranked 3939 p4p, 391 weight class). Fireball Kid had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Fireball Kid! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jao Rua! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kid tries to keep at a distance but Rua has taken the fight into the clinch. Kid pulls guard. Rua wants to control from the top but Kid keeps moving. Kid is pulling down on Rua's head to control his posture. Rua trying to control the position from guard on top but Kid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rua is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rua drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rua jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kid looking to control.

Rua tries to improve position but can't. Kid slows the pace down. Rua is looking to reverse the position. Kid tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rua's legs. Kid looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Kid is trying to get an arm triangle but Rua is defending well. Kid gets to mount! Rua was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
