Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Swingewood (ranked 2688 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chongyang Lu (ranked 2075 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 2, fighting out of The Island, Aaron Swingewood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chongyang Lu!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swingewood fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swingewood did well to prevent Lu getting side control.

Swingewood is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lu is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Swingewood to the mat. Swingewood regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aaron Swingewood will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
