Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tolui Ruizong Rensheng Jingxiang (ranked 1852 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Hackleton (ranked 1576 p4p, 0 weight class). Hackleton has chosen Gringo Hip Hop as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tolui Ruizong Rensheng Jingxiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Hackleton!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hackleton looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Hackleton stays in close to Rensheng Jingxiang's body and controls the position.
Hackleton wants to control from the top but Rensheng Jingxiang keeps moving.
Rensheng Jingxiang controls Hackleton momentarily but Hackleton frees himself.
Hackleton throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hackleton drops back looking for a leg! Rensheng Jingxiang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rensheng Jingxiang manages to kick Hackleton off! Hackleton jumps back into Rensheng Jingxiang's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Rensheng Jingxiang's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hackleton is looking to work some ground and pound but Rensheng Jingxiang has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rensheng Jingxiang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rensheng Jingxiang has momentary wrist control but Hackleton slips an elbow through the middle.

Hackleton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rensheng Jingxiang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rensheng Jingxiang looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hackleton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
It looks like Hackleton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Rensheng Jingxiang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hackleton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hackleton connects with a couple of short punches.

Hackleton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rensheng Jingxiang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hackleton has managed to get both his arms back between Rensheng Jingxiang's legs - danger averted.
Hackleton's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Rensheng Jingxiang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hackleton passes into half guard.

Rensheng Jingxiang actively working from the bottom here.
Hackleton sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Hackleton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rensheng Jingxiang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hackleton is working away from the top position though.
Hackleton slips a nice elbow through Rensheng Jingxiang's hands, connecting with Rensheng Jingxiang's forehead.
Hackleton is nestled in close to Rensheng Jingxiang, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hackleton drops an elbow to the side of Rensheng Jingxiang's head.


Rensheng Jingxiang is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hackleton connects with a nice short shot to Rensheng Jingxiang's temple.
Oh Rensheng Jingxiang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hackleton is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Rensheng Jingxiang is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hackleton fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Rensheng Jingxiang from any more punishment! Congratulations to Hackleton! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Hackleton!
