The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoritomo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gregory on the side of the head.
It looks like Jalen Gregory has been cut.
Yoritomo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gregory in his tracks.
Gregory fails with the takedown
and Yoritomo counters with a good low kick that Gregory was not able to check.
Gregory tries for a takedown but Yoritomo circles away easily
enabling Yoritomo to counter with a crisp jab.
Gregory shoots and misses
and Yoritomo counters with a nice uppercut.
Kamakiri Yoritomo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jalen Gregory.
Yoritomo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gregory fails with the takedown
and Yoritomo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yoritomo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yoritomo drops Gregory with a huge uppercut! Gregory drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Yoritomo is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamakiri Yoritomo!
A relieved looking Kamakiri Yoritomo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
