Knuckles has chosen Ugandan Knuckles song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sikil Papat could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Papat is defended easily by Knuckles.
Papat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knuckles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Papat with a lazy takedown attempt
and Knuckles counters with a huge left! Papat is in big trouble! He's backing up but Knuckles isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Papat from any more damage. A dominating finish by Knuckles!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ugandan Knuckles!
