The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuida checks the leg kick nicely there.
Cuida looks to score with a jab to the body but Michael is just out of range.
Cuida darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Michael misses with a leg kick.
Cuida ducks under a wild hook from Michael.
Cuida tries a quick counter leg kick but Michael is wise to it.
Michael uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cuida.
Michael cracks the inside of Cuida's front leg.
Cuida throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Michael sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Michael is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cuida.

and Cuida counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cuida tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Michael connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Michael tries to score with a low kick but Cuida moves his leg out of the way.

Cuida tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Michael manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Balbus Michael seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Michael stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Michael makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Michael misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cuida.

Cuida is trying to maintain a safe position but Michael gets an underhook and turns Cuida into the cage.
Cuida misses with a knee strike.
The referee is keeping an eye on Michael - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cuida wants to stall.
Cuida's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Michael can't find room to land a body shot as Cuida controls the action.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cuida.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Balbus Michael will probably get the nod.
That's time! Michael's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Michael slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cuida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Michael connects with a leg kick. Cuida looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Cuida takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cuida is rocked!
Michael fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Cuida out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Balbus Michael!
Balbus Michael was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Gray Cuida stepped up to the mic, saying 'This is why I run...'.
