Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Martin Holm (ranked 3371 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Ganador (ranked 7388 p4p, 507 weight class). Ganador is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by We Will Rock You. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ganador looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Holm seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Ganador tries for a takedown but Holm circles away easily
and Holm counters by clinching up.
Ganador tries to pull guard but Holm won't allow it.
Holm changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ganador fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Ganador is looking to clinch but Holm is avoiding it.

Holm moves into the clinch successfully.
Holm has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ganador uses from the top position.
Ganador slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ganador drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ganador seems to have locked his on tight now - Holm screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ganador, as he picks up the win!

A very excited looking Luis Ganador rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |
