Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Johnson (ranked 6704 p4p, 208 weight class) and Full Time Panda (ranked 5896 p4p, 187 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Phil Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Full Time Panda! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda gets the takedown into side control. Panda in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Johnson taking a bit of punishment here - Panda scoring with strikes. Johnson is being controlled here. Panda working the ground and pound. Check out the look on Panda's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Panda remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is looking to regain half guard here but Panda keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panda happy to just control the position for now. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Panda has eaten all the pies! It looks like Panda might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Johnson wants to control but Panda postures up. Johnson is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Panda moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Panda working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Johnson can't do much from the bottom here. Panda controlling the position from side mount. Panda working the ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda in side control, just content to control the action for now. Johnson is trying to get back to half guard. Johnson taking a bit of punishment here - Panda scoring with strikes. Panda cracks Johnson with a big right hand but Johnson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Johnson is rocked! A big shot lands for Panda! That's hurt Johnson! Will he recover? Panda fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
