Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rico Cole (ranked 3893 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Stetson (ranked 6809 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole comes to the cage accompanied by Gerardo's Rico Suave. Rico Cole could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jamie Stetson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rico Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamie Stetson! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stetson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cole sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stetson tries to clinch but Cole moves out of range. Cole throws a leg kick which misses Stetson's front leg but catches the back leg as Stetson tries to avoid it. Cole has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Stetson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cole moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stetson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cole forces Stetson back against the cage and clinches. Cole manages to break the clinch.
Cole swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stetson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid leg kick lands there for Cole.
Cole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cole closes the distance and pushes Stetson back into the cage. Stetson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Stetson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cole pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rico Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Stetson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cole throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Cole scores with a four punch combination! Stetson tries to clinch and Cole counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stetson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stetson throws a sloppy head kick and Cole counters with a three punch combo that has Stetson backing up. Stetson nods at Cole to acknowledge the strikes.
Stetson is rocked! Cole scores with a jab to the body. Stetson is still on wobbly legs! Can Cole finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Stetson - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Cole!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rico Cole! Rico Cole decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
