Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Matvey Pavlov (ranked 924 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tribbiani Joey (ranked 3429 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pavlov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights. Tribbiani Joey has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 3 losses; Tribbiani Joey! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Pavlov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Joey clinches up with Pavlov and pushes him back against the cage. Joey is pressed up against the cage. Pavlov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Joey down to the mat. Joey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Joey rushes Pavlov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pavlov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Joey lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Joey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pavlov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Joey has managed to get both his arms back between Pavlov's legs - danger averted.

Pavlov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pavlov keeping moving, preventing Joey from controlling successfully. Joey controlling from the top position. Pavlov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Joey throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pavlov's body to avoid the submission. Pavlov has instead reached around Joey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pavlov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
