Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Flores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Corbin Stewart! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Ben Hemmingworth.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart throws a head kick but Flores moves out of range.
Flores appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Stewart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stewart misses with a head kick.
Flores changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Stewart lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Stewart throws a sloppy head kick
and Flores counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Flores is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stewart defends it well.
Flores is looking for submissions but instead, Stewart has regained full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flores is looking to stand up but Stewart won't let him.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Flores drops back looking for a leg! Stewart is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stewart manages to kick Flores off! Flores jumps back into Stewart's guard. Stewart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Flores manages to get himself to full guard.

Flores has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stewart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Flores had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stewart defends it easily. Stewart must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Flores preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stewart with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stewart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Flores preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stewart tries to stand but Flores is controlling from the bottom.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Flores not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Stewart fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Flores has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Stewart rushes Flores and presses him up against the cage. Stewart lands a good knee to the midsection. Flores won't want to take too many of those.
Stewart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stewart looks to score with a jab to the body but Flores is just out of range. Flores tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Stewart manages to circle out of the way. Stewart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stewart forces Flores back against the cage and clinches. Stewart lands a hook that snaps the head of Flores backwards.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart misses with a knee to the head. Knees to the body from Stewart.
Stewart lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Flores prevents a body shot from Stewart. Stewart gets underhooks to prevent Flores's takedown attempt.
Stewart pushes Flores back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stewart wants a takedown.
Stewart cracks Flores with a nice body shot. Stewart tries to land knees in the clinch but Flores avoids the damage to the body. Flores really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stewart missing with knees to the body.
Stewart putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Flores in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Stewart misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Flores.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Corbin Stewart dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stewart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Flores circles away quickly and effectively. A thudding body kick lands there by Stewart!

Stewart throws a head kick that misses. Flores is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Stewart. Stewart throws a body shot but no joy. Stewart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart lands with an overhand left. Stewart avoids the head kick by Flores.
Stewart has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Flores gets tackled into the cage by Stewart. Stewart maintains the clinch. Stewart pushes off an throws an elbow but Flores leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Stewart manages to break the clinch.
Corbin Stewart is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stewart misses with a low kick. Flores appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Stewart just misses with a punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Stewart. Flores thinks about countering with a head kick. Flores pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Flores half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Stewart is breathing heavily. Stewart gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Flores counters by moving into the clinch. Stewart trying to stall but Flores improves his position.

Stewart breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Flores tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stewart smiles and moves away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Flores takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Stewart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Flores dodges the punch combination from Stewart.
Stewart has managed to clinch.
Stewart is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Flores. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flores drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stewart wants to control from the top but Flores keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart throwing strikes from guard but Flores blocks nicely. Stewart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Flores utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stewart postures up in Flores's guard and throws a big left but Flores blocks it. Flores working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stewart. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Flores bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stewart's guard.
Stewart wants to hit a switch here but Flores passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Stewart there!
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stewart defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Flores.
Flores swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Stewart is now in Flores's guard. A big mistake from Flores there, giving up the dominant position! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stewart throws a strike but Flores rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
 And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Corbin Stewart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Stewart blocks a leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Stewart. Flores does a little dance to reset his feet. Flores attempts a counter takedown but Stewart avoids it well and moves away. Stewart takes a swing at Flores's ribcage but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart misses with a takedown attempt - Flores sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Flores tries to counter with a takedown but Stewart is quick to defend against it. Flores tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stewart shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flores as he avoids it easily. Stewart is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Flores rather than just go for the knockout.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Flores uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stewart. Stewart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stewart takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stewart instigates a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Flores. Stewart gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Stewart pushes Flores back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Flores drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stewart pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stewart has taken the fight to the clinch.
Flores has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stewart avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Stewart throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Stewart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flores showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stewart.
Stewart throws a hook but Flores blocks it. Corbin Stewart seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stewart tries to land a front kick but Flores steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stewart throws a sloppy head kick and Flores moves out of range easily. Flores drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stewart sprawls and moves away. Stewart misses with a kick to the body
and Flores counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Flores swings around for an armbar but Stewart sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Flores's guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flores is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stewart defends well. Stewart won't allow Flores to sweep him here. Corbin Stewart is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Stewart trying to control but Flores is working from the bottom.
Flores has his foot on Stewart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stewart works his way back into a safe position though. Stewart wants to control from the top but Flores keeps moving.

Flores has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stewart is proving hard to escape from. Flores throws an elbow that misses. Stewart uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Flores's guard. Nice move by Stewart!
Stewart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Paul Flores has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Let's hope that Stewart has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! Corbin Stewart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Stewart winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
