Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yukimura Gomi (ranked 22757 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haruto Suo (ranked 22261 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by Peak Times by Switch. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yukimura Gomi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haruto Suo! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Haruto Suo has been cut. Suo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gomi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Suo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Suo checks a leg kick. Suo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gomi as he avoids it easily. Yukimura Gomi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haruto Suo. A cross from Suo lands. Suo throws a combination. Gomi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Suo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gomi avoids the head kick by Suo.
Suo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gomi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Suo tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suo rushes Gomi and presses him up against the cage. Gomi prevents the takedown attempt.
Gomi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Suo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A frustrated look appears on Suo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Gomi throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Suo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Gomi prevents Suo from breaking the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Gomi obliges. Suo looks winded! Gomi breaks from the clinch.
Gomi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Gomi lands a big head kick that sends Suo tumbling to the mat! Gomi takes a step backwards and waves Suo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Suo is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A chopping leg kick lands by Gomi. Gomi feints and then cracks Suo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suo down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Look low, kick high! Gomi uses the oldest trick in the book to send Suo tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gomi is absolutely delighted - when Suo wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yukimura Gomi! During a confident post fight interview, Yukimura Gomi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Haruto Suo was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you fans!'.
