Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Clifton (ranked 307 p4p, 35 weight class) and Chris Karter (ranked 467 p4p, 58 weight class). Clifton comes to the cage accompanied by Tony Clifton on the Fantastic Miss Piggy Show . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Clifton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 2, fighting out of New York, Chris Karter! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karter keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Karter staying out of range there. Clifton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Karter cracks Clifton with a good jab. Karter lands with a shot to the body. Karter is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Clifton stuffs the takedown attempt from Karter. Karter gets slowly back to his feet. Karter fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karter darts in looking for a takedown but Clifton gets double underhooks and turns Karter into the cage. Clifton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karter.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Clifton blocks a low kick nicely. Clifton thinks about countering with a head kick. Karter throws a head kick that misses. Clifton moves out of range as Karter strikes. It appears Clifton was looking to counter with a kick there. Clifton lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. We've been told by Clifton's head coaches at Super Awesome Ninja McDojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Clifton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karter lands the left hand. Karter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Karter takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Clifton scores with a jab. Karter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Chris Karter has been cut. Karter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Karter lands a slapping body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clifton circles away.

Clifton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Clifton lands a jab to Karter's midsection. Karter pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Clifton back to the cage. Karter follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Decent striking displayed by Clifton there. Karter throws a head kick but Clifton moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Clifton scores with a four punch combination! Karter cracks the inside of Clifton's front leg. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Karter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Karter cracks a nice hook into Clifton's ribs. Karter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Karter tries to land a leg kick but Clifton saw it coming and moves away.
As Karter backs away, Clifton returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. A swing and a miss from Clifton. Karter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clifton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Clifton dodges the punch combination from Karter.
Karter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Karter trying to control but Clifton is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Karter is looking to clinch. Clifton scores with a body shot.
Karter moves out of range of the body kick. Clifton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Karter was well out of range. Poor timing from Clifton. Clifton wants to land a leg kick but Karter is out of range. Clifton checks a leg kick. Clifton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Clifton throws a nice looking combination but Karter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Clifton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Karter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clifton. A telegraphed right hand from Clifton misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Clifton will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Chris Karter's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Clifton does a little dance to reset his feet. Karter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Clifton looks to score with a jab to the body but Karter is just out of range. Karter dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Clifton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Karter. A counter left hand to the body from Clifton misses its target. Chris Karter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Clifton jabbing away but nothing is landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Karter! But no joy. Clifton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Karter is rocked! Clifton misses with a head kick.
Karter is still on wobbly legs! Can Clifton finish him? Karter throws a low kick but Clifton moves out of range easily. Karter misses with a hook. Clifton throwing a counter right hand but Karter manages to avoid it. Clifton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Karter throws a lazy right hand but Clifton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Clifton stuns Karter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Karter takes a swing at Clifton's ribcage but misses. Clifton connects with a leg kick. Karter looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Whack! Clifton lands a heavy head kick that drops Karter. The ref tackles Clifton to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Karter was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Tony Clifton! A relieved looking Tony Clifton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
