Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails with the takedown
and Brock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into Brock's guard.
Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Johnson stands and throws Brock's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Brock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brock tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson takes a little break here. Brock wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Brock parries the strikes from Johnson easily there. Johnson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brock to escape.

Johnson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Johnson is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Johnson tries for a kimura but Brock is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson stands up.
Johnson closes the distance and pushes Brock back into the cage.
Brock breaks from the clinch.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Johnson goes for a double leg but Brock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brock continues to drive forward.

Brock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Brock takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mike Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brock tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brock to the ground. Brock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elliott Brock will probably get the nod.

Johnson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Brock has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Brock's legs - danger averted.
Brock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
Johnson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brock has a hand on Johnson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Johnson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Johnson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brock can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brock is in a horrible position here. Johnson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
