Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juanma Nfinfla (ranked 3571 p4p, 299 weight class) and Aslan Ramesha (ranked 4907 p4p, 355 weight class). Nfinfla comes into the arena with Roberto Manfinfla Theme Song blaring out of the sound system. Juanma Nfinfla is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juanma Nfinfla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aslan Ramesha!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nfinfla cracks Ramesha with an open hand slap.

Ramesha looking to score a takedown here. Nfinfla is defending well but Ramesha drives through and ends up in Nfinfla's guard.

Ramesha avoids the attempt from Nfinfla to control.
Nfinfla's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ramesha lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ramesha tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've been informed that Ramesha has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Nfinfla tries to reverse the position but Ramesha maintains control.
Nfinfla is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Ramesha takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Juanma Nfinfla will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramesha cracks Nfinfla with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Nfinfla from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Good control from Ramesha.

Nfinfla is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Ramesha off. It looks like it's working - Ramesha slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Nfinfla displaying calm under pressure there.
No luck for Ramesha with that takedown attempt.
Nfinfla scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Juanma Nfinfla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ramesha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nfinfla looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ramesha takes a little break here. Nfinfla wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ramesha's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
More stalling from Ramesha.
Nfinfla is trying to get back to his feet.
Nfinfla tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
