Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Sapolu (ranked 2748 p4p, 385 weight class) and Mike Snow (ranked 4962 p4p, 575 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Sapolu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapolu gets caught napping as Snow dives in and scores a takedown. Sapolu manages to retain guard. Snow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Snow passes Sapolu's left leg - he's now in half guard. Snow throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sapolu to regain full guard. Sapolu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snow on the ground. Snow's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Snow is pushing down on Sapolu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sapolu is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through. Snow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Still in half guard, Snow seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapolu is trying to get back to full guard. Snow sitting and controlling from the half guard. Snow's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sapolu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Snow. Snow working over Sapolu with some ground and pound. Sapolu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Snow content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sapolu keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Snow thows a huge punch but Sapolu dodges it nicely.
Snow stalling away here and it's allowed Sapolu to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Snow engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sapolu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Snow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sapolu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Snow's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Snow scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sapolu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sapolu is trying to keep Snow in close.
Snow is pushing down on Sapolu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sapolu is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through. Sapolu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back! Sapolu wants to control but Snow is keeping busy. I really don't envy Snow right now.
Snow is still trying to improve position. Sapolu is not going to allow Snow to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Snow wants to control but Sapolu is having none of it. Snow keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Snow sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sapolu blocks the strikes from Snow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Snow is trying to control but Sapolu passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Snow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Snow dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Snow tries a head kick but it misses.
Snow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sapolu but Sapolu pushes him off and we're back to square one. It looked like Sapolu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Sapolu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Snow lands with an uppercut that bounces Sapolu off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Mickey Sapolu has been cut. Snow throws a head kick but Sapolu moves out of range.
Snow digs a good body shot into Sapolu's ribs. Snow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sapolu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sapolu throws a big counter combination but Snow scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow throws a sloppy head kick and Sapolu moves out of range easily. Snow closes the distance but Sapolu moves to the side enabling Sapolu to counter with a crisp jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Sapolu.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Snow with that takedown attempt. Snow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Snow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sapolu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sapolu tries to get out of the position. Snow working the ground and pound. Snow misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sapolu tries to bench press Snow off him but Snow keeps the position. Snow trying to control the position but Sapolu is working away. Snow in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow is continuing to stall. More stalling from Snow. Snow cracks Sapolu with a big right hand but Sapolu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapolu is trying to control Snow's posture but Snow avoids it. Snow advances nicely into full mount. Snow with a couple of short strikes. Snow landing strikes from the mount. Poor strikes thrown by Snow there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Mickey Sapolu's cut is getting worse. Snow working the ground and pound effectively.
Mickey Sapolu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Sapolu tries to lock up and control but Snow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Snow controlling his opponent. Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow thowing shots but they're missing. Snow landing strikes, looking to finish!
Sapolu is rocked!
Jeez, Mickey Sapolu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mickey Sapolu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mike Snow! During a confident post fight interview, Mike Snow thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
