The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Michael misses the target.
Michael darts in trying to clinch
and Styles counters with a two punch combo.
Styles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Michael circles away quickly and effectively.
Michael is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Styles or perhaps it was just good defense by Michael, which made it look bad.
Michael tries to close the distance and clinch up but Styles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Styles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Michael swivels and escapes.
Ricardo Michael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aj Styles.
Michael shoots for a takedown but Styles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Styles throws an overhand right that drops Michael like a sack of potatoes! Styles dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
