Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Motoki Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veneda S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Motoki Matsui! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Veneda S! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsui is looking to clinch but S is avoiding it.
S slips a jab from Matsui. S wants to clinch. S fails with a takedown attempt from distance. S fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Matsui tries to clinch there but S circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. S moves in looking to clinch but Matsui pushes him off. S fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Motoki Matsui has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veneda S.
That's one minute gone in the round. S looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Matsui throws a jab but it's blocked by S. S shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Matsui as he avoids it easily. Matsui wants to clinch up but S keeps it at a distance. S works over Matsui's head and body with a nice combination. Matsui throws a hook but S blocks it. A big left from Matsui misses. Matsui looks to land a left hand but S moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matsui keeps the fight on the outside. S shoots in for a takedown and gets it. S is thwarting Matsui's attempts to control the position. S drops an elbow to the side of Matsui's head. Matsui on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Matsui tries to get out of the position. S controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. S trying to pass the guard but Matsui defending well. S throwing shots but Matsui is blocking nicely. S content to control rather than advance. Matsui has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. S is working away from the top position though. S seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. S looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Matsui is trying to maintain the position but S is very close to passing his half guard. Matsui is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. S misses with a takedown attempt - Matsui sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. S throws a wild body kick that Matsui sees coming a mile off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veneda S dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Matsui looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Matsui misses with a hook. S misses with a kick to the body.
Matsui is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Matsui's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Matsui circles away from the clinch attempt and Matsui counters with a shoot takedown. S fights it but they end up in guard. Matsui has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. S is trying to hold Matsui in close to prevent damage but Matsui has managed to pass into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Matsui trying to pass the guard but S defending well. Matsui prevents S from improving his position. Matsui tries to stand and escape but S is controlling the position. Matsui is looking to pass S's guard but actually S recovers to full guard. Matsui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. S swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. S is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. S is breathing heavily. Matsui tries to kick S off but S keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. S lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matsui has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. S is working away from the top position though. Matsui knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for S on the ground. S is looking to take a break and control but Matsui is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Matsui has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. That's three minutes gone in the round. S takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. S missing with the ground and pound from half guard. S is trying to work for a kimura but Matsui is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. S looking to control but Matsui is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. S misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
S trying to control but Matsui is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Motoki Matsui will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
S doesn't succeed with the takedown and Matsui counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in S's guard now. S tries to land a sweep but no joy. S looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
S keeping moving, preventing Matsui from controlling successfully. S manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matsui manages to get himself to full guard.
S controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. S trying to control the position from guard on top but Matsui is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. S stands up from guard. Let's bang! Matsui darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Matsui is stalling here. S is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Matsui seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and S has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matsui is positioning himself to get back to half guard. S advances to mount. S scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. S scoring with strikes but Matsui is staying in there. S controlling from the full mount. S avoids the attempt from Matsui to control. Matsui takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsui is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. S trying to control but Matsui is having none of it. BOOM! S connects with a massive shot to the dome!
S looking to control and managing it successfully. S lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Veneda S comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well S has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
