Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Chung (ranked 3861 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vcevolod Gvozdev (ranked 7776 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wayne Chung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vcevolod Gvozdev!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung tries to sprawl but Gvozdev drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chung blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gvozdev.
Gvozdev tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chung knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Chung tries to get to full guard but Gvozdev has control of the leg.
Well, if Gvozdev is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gvozdev wants to take a breather but Chung is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chung is trying to maintain the position but Gvozdev is very close to passing his half guard.
Gvozdev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chung wants to improve his position but Gvozdev is controlling well.
Gvozdev is looking to take a break and control but Chung is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gvozdev is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gvozdev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chung sprawls well initially but Gvozdev persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chung is trying is best to control the position here.
Gvozdev stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gvozdev trying to control from Chung's half guard. Chung has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Gvozdev pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chung is keeping the position for now.
Gvozdev is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chung wants to sweep here but Gvozdev controlling him for the moment.

Gvozdev throws a big elbow that misses.
Chung has his hands on Gvozdev's head, controlling the position.

Chung continues to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chung throws a quick inside leg kick.
Chung is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Chung shoots in and bounces Gvozdev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chung is working Gvozdev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Gvozdev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chung defends it easily.
Chung wants to control from the top but Gvozdev keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gvozdev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chung is aware though and is defending well.
Chung keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gvozdev's head.
Chung with a nice head shot there.
Chung distracts Gvozdev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Chung postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gvozdev has his foot on Chung's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chung works his way back into a safe position though.
Gvozdev looks winded!
Chung postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Gvozdev is rocked!
Chung working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gvozdev's head.
Gvozdev is still in real trouble! Can Chung finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chung loads up on a big left hand. Gvozdev felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Chung looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gvozdev can't hide his disappointment, as Chung celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Chung!
Wayne Chung decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
