The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa throws a head kick that Tokudome semi-blocks.

It looks like Naoyuki Tokudome has been cut.
A head kick misses from Barbosa.
Barbosa lands with a hook. Tokudome tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tokudome misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tokudome avoids the head kick by Barbosa.
Barbosa slaps away a takedown attempt from Tokudome, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tokudome gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Barbosa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barbosa cracks Tokudome with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Barbosa throws a head kick but Tokudome moves out of range.
Barbosa connects with a nice looking jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tokudome drops his hands momentarily and Barbosa needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Tokudome just on the top of the head. Tokudome drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Tokudome - he's done!
