8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kaz McStafferson! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oreiro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Oreiro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! McStafferson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Oreiro's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Oreiro works to advance to full mount. McStafferson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
