Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lesnar (ranked 148 p4p, 6 weight class) and Giant Giant (ranked 2174 p4p, 0 weight class). Giant Giant will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Giant Giant! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar staying out of range there. Lesnar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Giant quickly recovers to half guard. Lesnar trying to control from half guard but Giant is working away. Lesnar throwing shots but Giant is blocking nicely. Giant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Giant is trying to stand up here but Lesnar is controlling him well. Lesnar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lesnar slips a nice elbow through Giant's hands, connecting with Giant's forehead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lesnar thows a huge punch but Giant dodges it nicely.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar is pressing down on Giant's thigh, looking to free his foot. Giant is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar misses with a head shot. Giant uses the momentum to regain guard. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Giant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar distracts Giant with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lesnar stops Giant from standing up. Lesnar lands a couple of elbows. Lesnar trying to control but Giant is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lesnar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Giant can do anything to dispel that myth. Lesnar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lesnar is in close to Giant's body, working some short punches and elbows. Giant preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lesnar cracks Giant with a solid left hand. Lesnar throwing strikes from guard but Giant blocks nicely. Giant is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar passes easily into side control. Nice work. Giant taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar lands an elbow. Lesnar landing strikes. Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lesnar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Giant sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lesnar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Giant's shoulder. That is not cool. Lesnar cracks Giant with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Giant is rocked! Lesnar happy to just control the position for now. Giant is still in real trouble! Can Lesnar finish him? Lesnar in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Giant looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Lesnar turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lesnar! In his post fight interview, Mark Lesnar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
