The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marco sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marco.

Marco manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Marco throws a hook but Boyka blocks it.
Boyka walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marco.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boyka moves away.
Marco throws a big shot that misses.
Boyka drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Marco defends it well.
Boyka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marco circles away.
Marco defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boyka.
Dennis Marco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Boyka.

Marco scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Boyka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marco.
Boyka moves out of range as Marco throws a body kick.
A slow jab from Marco misses its intended target.
Boyka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marco pinned against the cage. Marco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boyka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marco avoids it really well and circles away.

Marco scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boyka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boyka looks for a takedown but Marco sprawls well.
Marco throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marco sprawls well. Marco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boyka gets slowly back to his feet.

Nice takedown defense from Marco. No joy for Boyka on that attempt.
Marco is looking to slow Boyka down with leg kicks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marco, right into the meat.
Marco connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boyka's hands.
Marco tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyka was well out of range. Poor timing from Marco.
Boyka's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Marco scores with a spinning back kick!
Marco cracks Boyka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Boyka is rocked!
Marco moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Boyka is still on wobbly legs! Can Marco finish him?
Boyka looks winded!
Boyka tries to get into range but Marco steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Boyka! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Marco scores the big KO victory!
