Revazshvili comes to the cage accompanied by Georgia National Anthem. Cortez has chosen Wake Me Up as his entrance music. Rafael Cortez looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 3, fighting out of New York, Levan Revazshvili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafael Cortez!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Revazshvili tests Cortez's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Rafael Cortez has been cut.
Cortez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Revazshvili scores with a one two! Cortez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Revazshvili cracks Cortez with an uppercut from hell and Cortez crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Revazshvili's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Revazshvili content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.


Cortez is rocked!


That has opened up Rafael Cortez's cut even more.
Revazshvili has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Revazshvili controlling from the top position.
Cortez is still in real trouble! Can Revazshvili finish him?
Revazshvili wants to control from the top but Cortez keeps moving.
Cortez seems to have recovered his senses.
Revazshvili controls from within his opponent's guard.
Revazshvili cracks Cortez with a solid left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Revazshvili works over Cortez with some ground and pound from guard.
Revazshvili is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Revazshvili throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cortez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Revazshvili's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Revazshvili lands a couple of decent looking shots.


The cut above Rafael Cortez's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Revazshvili trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Revazshvili is working hard here to advance position.
Revazshvili throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Revazshvili distracts Cortez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.


Rafael Cortez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rafael Cortez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Levan Revazshvili!
After the fight, Levan Revazshvili was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
