Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yamato Take (ranked 202 p4p, 33 weight class) and Paul Warror (ranked 141 p4p, 26 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yamato Take! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Warror! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warror throws a chopping leg kick but Take manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Take thows a left - swing and a miss! A jab lands there for Take. Take connects with a leg kick. Warror looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Warror on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Take smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Take keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Warror. Take looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Take lands a nice looking body shot.
Warror slips a jab from Take. Warror swings for the body but Take moves out of range.
Take dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Warror. That did some damage! Warror catches Take with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Take throws a jab but it's blocked by Warror. Warror misses with a low kick. Warror throws a series of punches but Take moves out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Take connects with a high kick. Warror displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Take throws out the jab. Take moves out of range of the body kick. Take swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Warror misses with an uppercut. Take saw that one coming. Take avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's one minute gone in the round. Take takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Warror is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Take. Warror is looking to land body kicks. Take went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Take avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Take with a body punch. A glancing blow. Warror darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Warror needs to keep his hands up - Take had a free shot at his head there. Warror throws a body kick that misses. Take throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Take tries to work over Warror's front leg with a kick but Warror checks it. Warror walks forward, straight into a front kick from Take. Yamato Take seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Take fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Warror manages to avoid it. Take misses with a straight left. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Warror, right into the meat.
Warror throws a solid leg kick but Take takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Warror. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Take, as that shot connected.
Warror misses with an uppercut. Take saw that one coming. Take thumps Warror with a low kick. Take walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Warror checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A leg kick checked by Take. Take loads up on a big right hand but Warror slips the punch. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Warror. Warror misses with a hook. Warror avoids the body shot from Take.
Take ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Warror moves away. Warror throws a shot from downtown. Take moves away and avoids it. Warror throws out a leg kick but Take moves out of range and Warror only half commits. Take throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Take throws a predictable looking body shot
and Warror counters with a lovely straight right hand! Warror throws a looping overhand right but Take ducks down to avoid it. Take avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Take swats away the attempt to clinch by Warror. Take uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Warror. Warror lands a jab to the head.
Take ducks under a wild hook from Warror. Take wants to land a leg kick but Warror is out of range. Warror tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Take is able to avoid easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Take missing with a left hand there. Warror was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Warror swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Warror scores with a nice body kick.
Warror fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Take manages to avoid it. A solid leg kick lands there for Warror.

Take lands with a light punch inside. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Warror blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Warror throws a hook to the side of Take's head but Take sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Take throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Warror. Take misses with a hook. Warror ducked under it nicely. Take pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Take doesn't manage to clinch there - Warror circles away.

and Warror counters with a straight right hand. Warror swings for the body but Take moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warror throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Warror avoids a kick to the body.
Take backing away here, and Warror unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Warror comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Take misses with a straight left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yamato Take will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Warror's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Warror misses with a body shot.

An attempted straight right counter from Take misses the target. Take lands a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Take misses with a straight right. Warror takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Warror misses with a body kick. Warror throws a low kick but it's checked well by Take. Take thows a body kick. Warror tries to catch it but that hurt him. Take buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
