The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins tries to clinch there but Willis circles away.
Perkins tries to sprawl but Willis drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Willis looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Perkins is trying to stand up here but Willis is controlling him well.
We've been hearing that Willis has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Willis wants to control but Perkins is keeping him busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Perkins wants to improve his position but Willis is controlling well.
Willis uses his free foot to push down on Perkins's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perkins.
Perkins is bucking up trying to escape but Willis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Willis lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Willis is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Perkins goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Willis!
