Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Walker (ranked 6734 p4p, 616 weight class) and Tom Green (ranked 5071 p4p, 560 weight class). Tom Green is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Green! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green throws a body shot but no joy. Walker ducks under a wild hook from Green. Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Green counters with a stiff right hand. Walker looks to land a left hand but Green moved out of range nicely. Walker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Green. Green throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Brandon Walker has been cut. Tom Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Green throws a sloppy head kick and Walker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A punch combination from Green misses. Green misses with a head kick.
It looked like Walker was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Green. Walker throws a series of punches but Green avoids them all with ease. Walker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker landing a few strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker cracks Green with an elbow. That is naaassty. Walker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Walker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Walker landing strikes. Walker trying to control the action but Green is working from the bottom. Walker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Green is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Walker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Green wants to get back to his feet. Walker is trying to get an arm triangle but Green is defending well. Green pushes Walker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Walker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Green tries to escape but Walker is in control. Walker advances to full mount. Green is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Walker lands a big shot there that rocks Green but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Walker lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Walker wants to control the pace but Green is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker controlling the position easily from mount. Green takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Green is rocked! Walker looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Green covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Walker! After winning the bout, Brandon Walker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
