Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Kelly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kelly Danger!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danger is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Kelly. Those never looked like landing.
Danger is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Kelly scores with a punch to the head.
Kelly connects with a right hand. Danger shakes it off.
Danger tries to clinch up.
Kelly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Danger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.

Danger closes the distance and pushes Kelly back into the cage.
Danger landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kelly tries to circle away but Danger has him pinned against the cage.
Danger lands a nice elbow.
Kelly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Danger misses with a punch on the inside.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kelly is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Danger can't fight it off and eventually Kelly manages to take the fight to the floor. Danger looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Danger keeping moving, preventing Kelly from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Danger wants to get back to his feet but Kelly is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kelly looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Danger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kelly trying to control but Danger is working from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kelly decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Danger, up you get!
Kelly scores with a jab to the head.
Kelly lunges at Danger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Danger's hand.
Kelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Danger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Danger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kelly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Danger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kelly finds it's way round the side to connect with Danger's head.
Kelly lands a right hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Danger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Danger tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Danger is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Danger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kelly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Danger scrambles back to his feet.
Kelly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Danger's head.


Danger is rocked!
Kelly showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Danger.
Kelly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Danger.
Danger is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Danger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Danger seems to have recovered his senses.
Danger takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kelly connects with a good right hand that stumbles Danger. Danger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Danger tries to clinch there but Kelly circles away.
Danger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Danger darts in trying to clinch
and Kelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Danger moves into the clinch successfully.
Kelly scores with a hook to the body.
Danger looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kelly gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Danger regains guard.
Kelly is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kelly's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kelly stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kelly is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kelly jabs Danger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Kelly dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A left lands for Kelly.
Kelly scores with a decent looking hook.
Danger tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.
David Kelly is winning the standup battle so far.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A shot in the inside from Kelly.
Danger with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Danger misses with an elbow over the top.
Danger throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Danger tries to land knees in the clinch but Kelly avoids the damage to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Kelly.
Danger using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kelly has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Danger throws an elbow but it misses.

Kelly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelly scores with a hook to the body. Danger takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kelly digs a good body shot into Danger's ribs.
We've been told by Kelly's head coaches at Q Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Danger wants to clinch.
Kelly thuds a left hand into Danger's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly blocks a head kick by Danger.
Danger is breathing heavily.
Kelly lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kelly.
Danger tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.

Kelly cracks Danger with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kelly has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Danger to stand back up!


It looks like Kelly Danger has been cut.
Danger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kelly to score with a decent uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelly moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kelly pounces like a tiger and cracks Danger with a vicious hook! Danger is down but not out! Kelly follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Kelly!
David Kelly is the new light heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking David Kelly made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
