Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dierk Ueli!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueli gets a double leg takedown into Boxaaja's guard.
Ueli throws a big elbow that misses.
Boxaaja wants to get back to his feet but Ueli is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ueli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ueli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boxaaja utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Boxaaja is trying to keep Ueli in close.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ueli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boxaaja scores with a jab.
Ueli tries to clinch but Boxaaja moves out of range.
Boxaaja throws a jab when Ueli was well out of range.
Ueli on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Dierk Ueli has been cut.
A head kick by Ueli misses
and Ueli takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ueli drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ueli content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Boxaaja has locked up a guillotine! Boxaaja's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ueli is holding on here and Boxaaja must be using up a lot of energy. Ueli has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Boxaaja gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
