Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Farmer (ranked 21416 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bonebraker (ranked 7816 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton Farmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Bonebraker! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farmer moves into the clinch. Farmer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bonebraker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bonebraker breaks the clinch.
Bonebraker darts in and clinches Farmer up against the cage. Farmer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bonebraker successfully pulls guard.
Bonebraker working for a triangle but Farmer defends it easily.
Bonebraker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Farmer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonebraker looking for a sweep. Not yet Bonebraker, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonebraker trying to keep a closed guard but Farmer is proving a slippery customer.
Bonebraker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bonebraker has Farmer pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bonebraker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Farmer! Farmer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bonebraker has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farmer dodges the ground and pound from Bonebraker. Bonebraker trying to control the position but Farmer is working away. Bonebraker working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bonebraker lands a few punches from side control. Bonebraker happy to just control the position for now. Bonebraker stands up and beckons Farmer to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonebraker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farmer sprawls well initially but Bonebraker persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bonebraker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bonebraker is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Farmer reverses the position - he's now on top in Bonebraker's guard. Bonebraker is looking to sweep but instead, Farmer has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Farmer throwing shots but Bonebraker is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bonebraker trying to get back to full guard but Farmer takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Farmer throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bonebraker because Farmer loaded up on that one. Bonebraker tries to hold on but Farmer postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bonebraker is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Bonebraker will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bonebraker drives through with a takedown into guard. Farmer pushes Bonebraker off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bonebraker takes the fight into the clinch. Farmer jumps guard but Bonebraker stands there with Farmer around his waist. Farmer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Farmer can't get the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Farmer jumps guard but Bonebraker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Farmer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bonebraker tries to circle away but Farmer has him pinned against the cage. Bonebraker successfully pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farmer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bonebraker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bonebraker is not content to let Farmer control the position. Farmer scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Farmer wants to stand up but Bonebraker is controlling the position.
Farmer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bonebraker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bonebraker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bonebraker. Bonebraker wants to control the position but Farmer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Bonebraker missing with punches from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonebraker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Quinton Farmer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bonebraker is trying to maintain the position but Farmer is very close to passing his half guard. Bonebraker controlling the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. John Bonebraker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bonebraker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Farmer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bonebraker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Farmer keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonebraker tries to move to full mount but Farmer actually manages to regain half guard. Nice strikes from Bonebraker there. Farmer actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Farmer missing with punches from the bottom.
Bonebraker performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Quinton Farmer will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Bonebraker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Farmer wants to stand back up but Bonebraker manages to pass into side control.
Bonebraker decides to stand back up. Bonebraker moves into range and clinches up with Farmer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonebraker trying to land knees to the body.
Farmer pulls guard effortlessly. Bonebraker is standing up over Farmer. Farmer looks to escape but Bonebraker dives into side control.
Bonebraker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Farmer keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonebraker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Farmer regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bonebraker's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bonebraker in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bonebraker is trying to control. Farmer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bonebraker is looking to stall here but Farmer recovers full guard. Bonebraker trying to control the position from guard on top but Farmer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bonebraker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bonebraker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonebraker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bonebraker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Farmer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bonebraker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Farmer's guard. Bonebraker slows the pace down in half guard. Farmer misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Farmer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bonebraker is trying to control. Farmer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bonebraker gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bonebraker stalling against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bonebraker. Bonebraker trying to land knees to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bonebraker misses with a knee strike.
Farmer takes a shot to the head. Farmer is trying to force a seperation but Bonebraker has the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! John Bonebraker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bonebraker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
