Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kimura (ranked 4111 p4p, 309 weight class) and Leonardo Pazzini (ranked 2880 p4p, 249 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pazzini's choice of entrance music: Acid Drinkers - Hit the road Jack. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Kimura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leonardo Pazzini!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pazzini fails to land the takedown.

Pazzini shoots for a double leg takedown but Kimura sprawls well. He's pushed Pazzini's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kimura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pazzini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kimura has managed to get both his arms back between Pazzini's legs - danger averted.

Pazzini has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kimura is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pazzini.
