And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Dupuis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupuis swings for the body but Graumuller moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Graumuller has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dupuis loads up on a big right hand but Graumuller slips the punch.
Graumuller drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dupuis sprawls and moves away.
Dupuis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A combination from Graumuller does no damage.
Dupuis looks to land a combination but Graumuller avoids it well.
Dupuis misses with a two punch combination.
Graumuller misses with the combination.
Graumuller missing with a left hand there. Dupuis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dupuis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dupuis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Graumuller manages to avoid it.
Dupuis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dupuis throws a wild body kick that Graumuller sees coming a mile off.
Graumuller takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dupuis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Graumuller throws a series of punches but Dupuis avoids them all with ease.
Nice straight punches there by Graumuller. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Graumuller.
Dupuis throws a right hand that Graumuller ducks under and follows up with a left that Graumuller also avoids with ease.
Graumuller throws a head kick that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dupuis won't allow Graumuller to pass to mount.
Graumuller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Graumuller is looking for a kimura here.
Dupuis trying to hold on to Graumuller's head to control him but Graumuller postures up.

Graumuller has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dupuis defend it? Graumuller steps over the head and cranks it - Dupuis is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Graumuller!
