Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zach Alexander! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Daniels is pressing down on Alexander's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alexander is holding on for now. Daniels will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Daniels works his way into side control. Alexander seems a little lost for a moment, as Daniels dominates the positioning. Daniels landing strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels slows the pace down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniels working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Daniels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels tries for a kimura but Alexander is defending well. Daniels working the head with strikes. Daniels controlling the position from side mount. Daniels's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alexander is trying to get back to his feet. Daniels postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Alexander tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Daniels is landing with some decent strikes but Alexander is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels working away from the top, dropping strikes. Daniels is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Alexander can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Daniels punishing his opponent with strikes. Daniels pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Daniels controlling the pace for now. Alexander is trying to stand. Daniels has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Alexander's face.
Daniels working away from the top, dropping strikes. Daniels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels with good strikes from the mount here! Daniels controlling from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn Daniels dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Alexander throws a nice looking combination but Daniels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Alexander works over Daniels's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Shawn Daniels has been cut. Alexander throws a push kick but Daniels slaps the foot to one side. Daniels slips a jab and a cross from Alexander.
Shawn Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alexander gets caught flat footed, as Daniels shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Daniels showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Alexander is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Daniels dives into side control.
Daniels takes a little break here. Alexander wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Daniels has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander lands with a nice body kick. Alexander throws a head kick that misses. Daniels misses with a takedown and Alexander counters with a crisp one two that drops Daniels! Alexander thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Daniels to his feet! Daniels is in big trouble!
Daniels is rocked! Daniels drops his hands for a split second and Alexander immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Daniels face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Alexander follows up with a right hand that knocks Daniels into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
