With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Goodwill!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodwill cracks the inside of Plouman's front leg.

Goodwill moves into the clinch.
Plouman jumps guard but Goodwill stands there with Plouman around his waist. Plouman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Goodwill stalls.
Goodwill is stalling here.
Goodwill leaning his opponent against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Goodwill's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plouman tries to pull guard but Goodwill won't allow it.

A bone on bone clash there as Plouman blocks the leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Goodwill.
Plouman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goodwill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Plouman somewhat.
Plouman takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Plouman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Goodwill, right into the meat.

Goodwill throws a nice outside leg kick.
Plouman avoids the head kick by Goodwill.
Plouman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Goodwill finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Goodwill's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Goodwill's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Plouman avoids a kick to the body.
Goodwill thows a body kick. Plouman tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Goodwill gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Plouman tries to pull guard but Goodwill forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Plouman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Plouman drops back looking for a leg! Goodwill is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Goodwill manages to kick Plouman off! Plouman jumps back into Goodwill's guard.
Plouman wants to control from the top but Goodwill keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary Goodwill dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Plouman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Goodwill walks away with a smile on his face. Plouman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Goodwill throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Plouman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Goodwill. That one must have hurt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Goodwill.
Plouman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goodwill.
Goodwill scoring well with a low kick there.
Plouman is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Plouman fails with a takedown attempt.
Goodwill tries to counter by closing the distance.

Plouman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Goodwill quickly recovers to half guard.
Plouman stalling.

Plouman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Goodwill sees it coming and defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Plouman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
David Plouman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Plouman seems to be looking for submissions.

Plouman wants to work for an arm triangle but Goodwill is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Plouman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Goodwill is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
