Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Paul (ranked 5924 p4p, 615 weight class) and KaKayo Latakna (ranked 4621 p4p, 555 weight class). KaKayo Latakna is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, KaKayo Latakna! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Paul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paul doesn't manage to clinch there - Latakna circles away.
Latakna bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Latakna throws a right hand that misses
and Paul counters with a one-two to the body. Paul displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Latakna throws out the jab. Paul wants to clinch up but Latakna keeps it at a distance. Paul throws a left and a right that both miss
and Latakna counters with a left and a right that stings Paul. Paul drives through and clinches with Latakna against the cage.
Paul tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Paul pushes off an throws an elbow but Latakna leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Paul trying to stall but Latakna improves his position.
Latakna blocks a body shot from Paul. Latakna lands with a short head shot on the inside. This has been an exciting period of action! Paul is trying to break the clinch but Latakna is controlling him. Latakna lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Paul or not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Latakna prevents Paul from breaking the clinch. Paul tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Latakna blocks an uppercut.
Paul is trying to force a seperation but Latakna has the dominant position. A short body shot lands from Latakna as the two fighters clinch.
Paul is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Paul struggles to land a body shot inside as Latakna controls his hands.
Paul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Latakna gets tackled into the cage by Paul. Paul maintains the clinch. Come on Latakna - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Paul tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Latakna avoids it. Paul stalling in the clinch but Latakna improves position. Paul has Latakna pushed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul tries to pull guard but Latakna forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Paul tries to work over Latakna's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Paul tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Latakna smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Latakna misses with a straight left. Paul is looking to clinch but Latakna is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Paul misses. Latakna is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Paul with a body shot. Paul tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Latakna manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Latakna on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Latakna misses with a straight left. Paul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Latakna paws at him with a jab and circles away. Latakna scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul tries to clinch but fails miserably and Latakna counters with a lovely straight right hand! Latakna throws a hook to the side of Paul's head but Paul sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A combination from Latakna does no damage. Paul is looking to clinch but Latakna is avoiding it.
Paul looks to clinch and Latakna scores with a counter punch that sends Paul to the canvas! Latakna smells blood - he's punishing Paul with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Paul has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KaKayo Latakna! As KaKayo Latakna got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Before this fight..... I was gonna tell him he gon get knocked out.... F*** that dude!'.
