Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artois slaps away a takedown attempt from Ford, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Artois as he jumps to the side.
Ford tries for a takedown but Artois sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ford enables Artois to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ford manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Artois is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Artois sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ford's guard.

Artois throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ford scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Artois manages to mount him!
Ford tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Artois tries to control but Ford wriggling away.
Ford is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Artois has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ford covering up well and avoiding damage.

Artois wants to control but Ford is keeping busy.
Artois working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Ford could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ford wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Ford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Artois on the ground.

Artois is trying to stick to Ford's back but Ford is turning into Artois. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Artois's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ford.

Artois wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ford is now in half guard.

Artois has a hand on Ford's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ford takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Ford won't let Artois get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Ford shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Artois's guard.
Artois is looking to stand back up but Ford counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Artois.
Ford wants to stand but Artois has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ford throws a nice looking combination but Artois bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Artois is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ford's half guard.
Ford has one foot on Artois's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ford clinches up with Artois and pushes him back against the cage.
Ford is trying to pull guard but Artois turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Artois breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ford closes the distance and clinches.
Ford jumps guard but Artois stands there with Ford around his waist. Ford gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Artois trying to control the action but Ford is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Ford avoids the head kick by Artois.
Artois decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ford is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Artois pulls his head out easily.
Artois is working for an americana but Ford has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Artois was thinking about the submission.
Artois takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Artois working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Artois is pressing down on Ford's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ford is holding on for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ford wants to clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Artois shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ford makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
