Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Debrine (ranked 4021 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyle Chipperson (ranked 3522 p4p, 0 weight class). Debrine comes to the cage accompanied by The Best. Chipperson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chip Chipperson - Tears. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Debrine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lyle Chipperson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chipperson gets tackled into the cage by Debrine. Debrine maintains the clinch. Chipperson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Debrine dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Debrine with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Debrine throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Debrine pushes off an throws an elbow but Chipperson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Chipperson avoids the elbow strike from Debrine, against the cage.

Chipperson has picked Debrine up - he's going for a ride! Chipperson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Chipperson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Debrine wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chipperson wants to work for an arm triangle but Debrine is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chipperson is thwarting Debrine's attempts to control the position. Debrine on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chipperson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chipperson with the ground and pound but Debrine uses the opportunity to regain guard. Debrine tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chipperson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Debrine can't keep his opponent in guard - Chipperson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chipperson wants to free his trapped foot but Debrine is holding on for dear life with his legs. Debrine regains full guard. Nicely done. Chipperson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Debrine looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Chipperson tries to free his leg and advance position but Debrine is retaining full guard. Chipperson throws a strike but Debrine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Chipperson pushes Debrine off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Chipperson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Debrine clinches up against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Debrine throws an elbow but misses. Chipperson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Debrine avoiding damage.

Debrine pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Debrine trying to control the position but instead, Chipperson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Debrine into the cage. Debrine is pressed up against the cage. Chipperson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Debrine down to the mat. Debrine avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Max Debrine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyle Chipperson. Debrine wants to clinch up but Chipperson keeps it at a distance. Chipperson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Debrine. Debrine moves into the clinch successfully.

Chipperson has Debrine pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chipperson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Debrine tumbling to the mat - Chipperson dives into Debrine's guard. Debrine pulls Chipperson in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chipperson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Chipperson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chipperson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Debrine is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chipperson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Debrine swivels though and keeps the full guard. Debrine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chipperson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Chipperson wants to pass the guard but Debrine is keeping the position. Debrine is controlling Chipperson's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lyle Chipperson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Debrine misses with an uppercut. Debrine clinches. Debrine tries to stall but Chipperson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Debrine's corner is telling him to maintain position. Chipperson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chipperson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Debrine controls the pace. Chipperson is controlling Debrine's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chipperson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chipperson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Chipperson has his foot on Debrine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Debrine works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chipperson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Debrine gets to his feet - Chipperson follows without any prompting. Debrine throws a hook to the side of Chipperson's head but Chipperson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Chipperson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Chipperson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Debrine tests Chipperson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Debrine swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Debrine tries to clinch but Chipperson moves out of range. Debrine has closed the distance and engaged Chipperson in a clinch.

Debrine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chipperson smiles and moves away.
Debrine lands with a shot to the body. Chipperson moves away from the strike by Debrine. Debrine stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Debrine wants it to stay on the feet. Max Debrine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Chipperson with that takedown attempt. Max Debrine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyle Chipperson.

Debrine pulls Chipperson in to control the position. Debrine continues to stall. Chipperson throws a strike but Debrine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Debrine throws a big right hand that misses. Chipperson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Debrine scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Chipperson shoots in looking for a takedown but Debrine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chipperson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Debrine throws a looping overhand right but Chipperson ducks down to avoid it. Debrine connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Debrine lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Chipperson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fighters circling - Debrine throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chipperson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Chipperson looks for a takedown but Debrine sprawls well. Max Debrine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyle Chipperson. Chipperson defending well as Debrine loads up on a big left hand. Chipperson with the counter takedown but Debrine avoids it easily. Chipperson avoids the body shot from Debrine.

Max Debrine has scored more points in the clinch so far. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Debrine just misses with a elbow thrown towards Chipperson's brow. Debrine is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chipperson is defending well for now. Chipperson tries to pull guard but Debrine holds him up against the cage and eventually Chipperson drops back down to his feet.
Debrine will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chipperson up against the cage. Chipperson is looking to take this one to the mat. Chipperson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Chipperson lands a couple of elbows.

He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Lyle Chipperson stepped up to the mic, saying 'This greased-up steroid-monster won just because my pre-fight blueberry smoothie was laced! And the judges and the referee were bought! And it was an early stoppage! And even the goddamn mat was too slippery!'.
