Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Winters (ranked 7308 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Robinson (ranked 5079 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan Robinson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cletus Winters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duncan Robinson! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Robinson but Robinson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Robinson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It looked like Winters was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Winters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Winters fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robinson sprawls well initially but Winters persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Robinson tries to roll over but Winters keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winters tries to stand and escape but Robinson is controlling the position. Winters is working for a submission of some sort.
Winters is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Robinson sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winters lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Winters prevents Robinson from improving his position. Winters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Robinson is still trying to improve position. Winters wants to work for an arm triangle but Robinson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Winters is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Winters is trying to work for a kimura but Robinson is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Winters is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Robinson is looking for a sweep. Winters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Winters decides to return to a standing position. Robinson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Winters throws a big elbow that misses. Winters gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Robinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Winters gets the takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winters working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Winters cracks Robinson with a big right hand but Robinson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Winters lands a nice forearm strike. Winters wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Robinson, who protects the arm well. Winters is trying to get an arm triangle but Robinson is defending well. Winters scores with a couple of short elbows. Robinson tries to improve position but can't. Winters in side control, just content to control the action for now. Robinson is trying to control Winters's posture but Winters avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson defending against the ground and pound. Winters decides to stand back up. Robinson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Robinson looks winded! Robinson misses with the body kick and Winters counters with a left to the body. Duncan Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winters scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Winters controlling the position from side mount. Robinson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Winters's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Winters with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Robinson trying to hold on to Winters's head to control him but Winters postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cletus Winters dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Winters fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robinson to the ground. Winters is now in Robinson's guard. Winters drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Robinson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Winters has Robinson in his guard. Winters has his hands on Robinson's head, controlling the position. Winters has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winters has a closed guard, preventing Robinson from standing up. Winters is pulling down on Robinson's head to control his posture. Robinson wants to control from the top but Winters keeps moving. Cletus Winters overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Robinson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Robinson is looking to stand up but Winters won't let him. Robinson pushing down on Winters's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winters is holding on to half guard well. Robinson trying to control from half guard but Winters is working away. Robinson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Robinson. Winters throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Winters is in Robinson's guard. Winters has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robinson is proving hard to escape from. Winters postures up.
Robinson is breathing heavily. Winters missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Winters distracts Robinson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Robinson trying to control the position.
Winters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winters stands up over Robinson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Robinson trying to control the position.
Winters is working Robinson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Robinson working a defensive guard here.
Winters drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Winters as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Robinson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Winters! Nice submission victory there!
